Job Title: Medical Lab Technologist
Job Summary:
As a Medical Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely testing results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collect and prepare samples for analysis
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests including blood tests, urine tests, and tissue samples
- Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Follow strict protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Keep detailed records of all tests performed
- Assist in quality control and quality assurance measures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and technology
